Welcome, friend. I’ve just pinged you an email welcoming you to my world.
But while I’ve got you here, let's discuss…
Dear Founder,
I’m about to make you a damn good offer.
An offer which will solve your endless struggle to acquire new customers, keep customers on your books for longer and, hopefully, relieve you of the endless 12 hour workdays you’ve been putting yourself through to make sure your “baby” doesn’t become yet another statistic (buried in the graveyard of 90% of SaaS companies which simply... don't make it).
And I make no apologies here – I am about to present you my Copywriting and Marketing services. In fact, I do so openly, and with the utmost confidence.
I know I’m not “supposed” to say that.
I know I’m supposed to “lure you in”.
And I know I’m supposed to act like I’m not “selling you”.
But after speaking to dozens of Founders in the past couple months alone, I’ve realised there’s ONE thing you don’t have:
Every day you wake up and gaze, despairingly, at your “todo list”, which seems to mutate every single hour, presenting an entirely new (and unforeseen) set of challenges to overcome.
Bugfixes. New features you want (or need) to build. Outreaching to customers. Collecting feedback and user requests. Producing content. Responding to emails. Writing articles and social media content to increase your credibility.
And, on top of all that, you’ve also got to figure out…
Which is not only a conundrum.
But, deep down, also making you start to dislike the business you’ve built.
After all…
Product is your “thing”. That’s what drives you. That's what gets you out of bed in the morning. And that's what inspired you to dive into this Entrepreneurial adventure in the first place.
But marketing? Not so much. Sure, you can do it. You can learn social media algorithms. You can write your own newsletter. You can build your own landing pages, figure out what to put on your website, and learn to write sales pages that make people say "yes, I want that!". You can (theoretically) do it all.
But it’s such a… hassle.
Everything always takes 10x longer than you thought it would.
And it eats into the time you have to devote to your product (which is the ONE thing ONLY YOU can truly command, and which is going to help your startup flourish in the long-term).
Cue, Naval:
You’ve worked with “Marketing Agencies” in the past to try and resolve the mess.
But they simply pawned you off to their B-Team, gave you with more headaches than you had to begin with, and left you with a sour taste in your mouth (somewhat akin to the waiter “sticking you” with a $500 bill at an expensive restaurant after you’ve watched them serve you up plates of food only visible under a Microscopic lens).
It’s not the agencies’ fault – that’s just how their business model works: onboard clients en masse.
No good to you, however.
And you can feel the pressure from your investors breathing down your neck every day. They want growth. They want scale. They want to exit with a tidy ROI.
But it’s not just your investors you feel the pressure from.
It’s your friends and family too.
Because whether they’ve trusted you with their hard-earned cash, or whether they've simply entrusted your venture with their good faith and patience, you find yourself in a never-ending struggle to not... let them down.
And now...
Every night, with no-one else to lean on, as the light turns dim and you’re supposed to be getting some sleep (so you can function properly tomorrow)...
You find yourself racked by ONE question…
What will you say to your VCs? To your friends? To your family?
What will tell them if you can’t figure out the ONE thing that is a non-negotiable requirement for any business to not only survive, but thrive:
Getting customers in the door (and ensuring they don't leave).
And it’s at this point I would like to formally introduce myself:
I’m Harry Beadle.
We’ve spoken, if only briefly, on social media (that is how you found yourself on this page, after all).
And, listen. I’ll be real with you – I’ve been exactly where you are.
When I first decided to embark on the weird and wonderful adventure of Social Media, Marketing and Copywriting (which has now netted me and my clients multiple 6-Figures in the past 12 months alone)...
I was tormented by the exact same questions you’re grappling with right now.
After all, (and I’ve only admitted this to 4 or 5 of my closest friends in real life), my parents footed my $50,000 University fees. They gave me the opportunity to get 4+ years of Computer Science under my belt. They played a HUGE part in the career I was able to build for myself.
And when I told my family, my friends, and my colleagues I was packing in the $150k/year job I’d established (as a Software Developer at one of Europe’s leading Hedge Funds in the distressed debt markets) to become...
Well, to say there were a few eyebrows raised would be an… understatement. (I’m sure you faced a similar reaction when you decided to venture out on your own too, no?)
But I wasn’t happy.
I had this innate drive to build my own thing (I sense we share that in common, too). And I knew until I scratched that itch, I’d live the remainder of my life in a persistent state of…. “what if?”
Now. I’ve always had a penchant for words. For understanding the human mind. And I've always had a knack for figuring out makes us “tick”. So I was pretty confident I could “make it” as a Copywriter, Marketer or whatever other term you wanna label me with.
But I’d be lying if I said my mind wasn’t plagued with doubts.
The “what ifs”.
The “am I gonna make its?”
And the “what happens to me if it all comes crashing down?”.
I distinctly remember a phase I went through for the first few months after pulling the plug. I would would wake up every morning at 5AM. I would lie in bed for hours, unable to pull myself from the now warm sheets. And I would find myself crippled with doubt, asking myself whether I’d just made the biggest mistake of my life (and with visions of having to admit to everyone that I’d failed cascading through my mind).
Which meant I, just like you, had only ONE option:
Side note: Always makes me laugh when people compare Entrepreneurship to a typical 9-5. You and I both know they’re not even remotely close. And that the pressures you face from going out into the wilderness with nothing but a spear and a dream are light work compared with mornings spent pissing around the coffee machine like you do in a "regular" job.
But that's by-the-by.
And I’m pleased to say that my big “bet” did, in fact, pay off.
Because in the last 12 months alone...
I’ve used my skillset to amass over 8,000+ followers on social media. I've grown my newsletter to 2,600+ subscribers (which is packed full of 6 and 7-Figure Entrepreneurs choosing to read my insights on Copywriting and Marketing each morning). And I've delivered over $250k in results for myself and my clients in that same timeframe.
I've helped 7-Figure SaaS Founders like Gil bring new products to market:
PS. Posted directly on Twitter for my 7,000+ followers to witness, so you know it's real because else... I would swiftly be BEHEADED by the mob.
I've helped Entrepreneurs establish their Personal Brand on social media:
"It's hard to explain how much Harry has helped me with my offers, copywriting, and my ability to scale my Ghostwriting business.
I added $10,000/MRR in under 10 weeks.
And even after we finished working together, I've used the insights he shared with me to land 5 brand new, high-ticket clients that simply wouldn't have been possible without his help."
PS. I know you're not selling high-ticket Ghostwriting services. But that's not the point. I was still "finding my place" when I started working with Heythem. And you should see this as an indication of my ability to craft winning offers that SELL. The details of what I'm selling are more... so-so.
And I've even run some pretty successful marketing campaigns on my own (teeny tiny) email list which pulled in over $13,000 in sales in under 7 days...
PS. This was me selling a low-ticket, $149 digital product. Imagine what those numbers would equate to in Lifetime Customer Value for a subscription service like yours (where you'd be raking in cash for months, or even years to come, eh?)
PPS. Yes, I know screenshots can be faked. But I hope this testimonial from Brian (who has over 25,000 followers on Twitter) will give you some confidence this is, in fact... the "reál deál".
And now I’m here, offering a helping hand – to you.
My mission statement?
Teaming up with Founders and ambitious Entrepreneurs (just like you) to combine their ability to build awesome products, with my ability to get your product infront of the right people, express the value behind it, and make them say "yes, I want that!".
Because the simple fact is this:
You can build the best product in the world.
But...
When you’re churning out content, you need to know that it hits just the right angle to “connect” with your target customers. To give them a reason to follow. To get them curious about your product, and how it can help them.
When you’re blasting money on ads in a bid to expand your customer base, you need to know how to reflect the value your product brings to the table. To distil all the amazing features you’ve built into simple, easy-to-understand benefits.
In short...
And I get it.
I understand exactly how hard running your own “shop” is.
And I know exactly how many 5AM rises, midnight finishes, and evenings you've sacrificed away from your family you’ve to build your business (I’ve done the same).
So, consider this me reaching out my also-beaten palm so that we can get your product the recognition it deserves (I’m pretty good at it, if not modest).
And before we go any further, let me say:
My consulting rate is now $1,000/hr.
That isn’t some BS number I’ve made up to try and “inflate” the value I place on my time, either. Over 5 years working a 9-5 taught me to despise pointless meetings and “catch ups” which could be covered with a quick 30-second email. And so I set my rate almost artificially high to avoid this happening in my new life (peace of mind is everything, after all).
But today?
(See how I arrived at that $500 in the headline on this page? $1000/hr * half an hour.)
And when we chat?
You may find yourself a Copywriter teammate who is going to sit with you, shoulder-to-shoulder in the trenches until we've figured out how to help your product not just survive, but thrive.
I will be the “invisible hand” inside your business that gives you back your freedom to work on what you truly love (your product) while we rapidly amass more customers than you ever thought reasonably possible.
I can grow your audience and reputation on social media (the 8,000+ followers I’ve gained in the past 12 months is proof of that). I can write emails which establish your relationship with your readers. And I can write landing pages and sales pages which make it very difficult for your customers not to say “yes, I want that!” (You’ve just read my credentials proving that).
But I'm not going to do ANY of that until we've sat down man-to-man (or man-to-woman) and figured out EXACTLY what you're struggling with right now.
Fair? Great.
But you should know...
I've always been a "quality over quantity" kinda guy.
I don't have a burning need for cash right now. And, as such, I'm very selective about who I work with – three to four “core clients” who I can build genuine, long-lasting relationships with has always been how I roll.
And, so...
If the big red button below is working right now, I'd urge you to book a quick chat with me before I'm "all booked out" again (and forced to shut the doors).
Your invite below:
Here's what you can expect from the call:
Sound good?
— Harry Beadle (Software Dev, turned 6-Figure Copywriter)
My friends also tell me I'm a decent laugh over a pint...
PS. It would be a mistake to think of me as a mere "copywriter". I understand social media platforms, how to accrue an audience. I understand how to write emails, websites and sales pages that convert. But, most importantly, I've also spent 5+ years designing software for the most particular of users (financial traders and investors, with millions of dollars on the line at any given moment). I know how users interact with software. I know how to optimise the experience. And I learned to articulate the value behind each feature to the executives who were, in essence, funding the development cycle (which is the same skillset I'll be applying to your prospective customers too). Don't take this opportunity lightly — behind that big red button might be the best investment you ever make.
